Discipline
Buken Academy seeks to develop and maintain a very high standard of discipline.
School rules and regulations are therefore well articulated and given in writing to both parents and students for guidance. The school has a Student Disciplinary Committee that handles such matters and keeps comprehensive record accordingly.
Disciplinary considerations may include:

- Advise, admonition, warnings
- Manual labour
- Corporal punishment
- Suspension from school activities. Such students are not send home but made to stay in the school and engaged in various manual labour without attending classes for two weeks.
- Expulsion as a last resort.
Record of extraordinary good behaviour or achievements are kept and such students are specially recognized and rewarded accordingly.
